Appearance: Black, body-hugging armor made of dragon scales with emerald green markings, knee-high black dragon scale boots, small black tattoo of a wyvern and a lily on the back of her left shoulder. When not wearing her armor, usually wears a light gray long-sleeved shirt under a beige tunic with a purple vest and tight gray pants with knee-high boots. Always carries Wyvern's sheath strapped across her back.

Background: As the only child of the wealthy Tsaleroth family, Riyathena grew up in a world of luxury and pampered indulgence, moving in the higher circles of Junon's elite. While loved by her servants and her parents, Riya was also aware that her difficult birth had robbed her father of the chance for the son and heir that he so desperately wanted. Shy but always something of an overachiever, Riya strove to become the ideal daughter, hiding her true emotions, thoughts and desires to conform with the the expected image of a young lady of an aristocratic house. Her unlikely friendship with the arrogant younger son of another wealthy house, Ferris Nothgalea, brought about a marked difference in the young girl. Mostly...a very unladylike interest in combat.
Sure their quiet eleven year old was only going through a phase, her parents arranged for several tutors to instruct her in various combat forms, hoping that she would loose interest due to sheer overload. Much to their chagrin, Riya proved to have a talent for tactics as well as combat, quickly surpassing her tutors and eagerly studying under whoever would teach her. Over the next five years, her relationship with Fenris deepened and the two were expected to wed as soon as they reached their majority but after a particularly distasteful scandal, Ferris was sent away and Riya was forbidden to have anything more to do with him.
Completely disenchanted by the life now laid out before her, Riya became determined to find her own path and with the help of one of her father's hired guards, Fien and Terrin Aerindale, she set out to become a mercenary. All but disinherited, Riya left her home after her 18th birthday, setting out with Terrin to start her career as a hired sword. The two soon earned a impressive reputation for their skills and other young mercenaries began seeking them out, wishing to join their ranks. Only 21, her youth, delicate appearance and quiet nature led her comrades to give her an annoying nickname, "The Lily," but after Terrin's murder, they willingly followed Riya as their leader. Burying her grief, Riya devoted her time to keeping track of Terrin's younger sister, Silvara Aerindale, as well as founding the Wyvern Guard. In two short years, they became known as an elite force and Riya began seriously devoting herself to training other young mercenaries, even turning her deceased parents' Junon estate into a training facility for her recruits.
