Siydi


Not long after collecting the bounty for her brother's killer, Silvara decided to go after another escaped felon, Akutabi Gamma. After she finally caught up to him, the young bounty hunter found herself facing both the convicted murderer and his chocobo, Siydi. Trained by Gamma, the black chocobo was just as vicious as his master and between the two of them; Silvara came very close to joining Gamma's long list of victims. After an exhausting battle, Gamma was finally defeated but both Silvara and his chocobo were critically injured. Weakened from her wounds, Silvara couldn't fully heal herself and make it to the next village on her own...and it was clear that the wounded chocobo would soon fall prey to the many monsters known to frequent the area. A tentative truce formed between them and Silvara managed to heal the chocobo who in turn carried her to the nearest town, Corel. Silvara spent the next few days recovering from her ordeal but as she left the settlement, she was surprised to find Siydi still waiting for her at the edge of the mountains and the two have been together ever since. Intelligent, vicious and fiercely protective of his mistress, Siydi makes a formidable guardian for the young bounty hunter and will rush to her aide with no thought to his own safety.
